The Bassendean Hotel has been the town's pub since 1930, and its renovation brought back much of its 1930s character, with Bassendean's history on the walls. It has a sports bar showing live sport, lounges, a balcony bar and family-friendly courtyards. The kitchen uses seasonal local produce, with weekly deals such as Steak Cut Mondays, Parmi Thursdays and a Sunday roast, and there's live music, trivia, bingo and comedy through the week. It's open from 11am every day, until midnight on Fridays and Saturdays.
